The two day meetings included presentations by Prof. Dr. Marco Antônio R. Nascimento, Dr. Osvaldo J. Venturini, Universidade Federal de Itajuba – UNIFEI, Instituto de Engenharia Mecânica –IEM, Centro de Excelência em Geração Termelétrica e Distribuída – NEST, Dan Brown of Brown Turbo, the Brayton Staff, and visits to Wilson TurboPower and TurboCam. This technical exchange covered all aspects of gas turbine design.  A subsequent agreement between Brayton and UNIFEI has led to a multi-year joint development of an advanced bio-fueled gas turbine power plant, under the sponsorship of Petrobras.
